This is a detail accessory, not a kit. The set contains fine metal parts of the shift rod and linkage, capturing exactly the shift mechanism of the Yamaha YZR-M1 motorcycle in its 2004 season specification in 1:12 scale. It replaces the simplified plastic part with a convincing metal one.

Use

  • Remove the parts from their gates and clean up the mating surfaces.
  • Bond the metal parts with super glue and take care to place them correctly in relation to the footpeg and the shift lever.
  • The surface can be touched in for a metallic look.
