An accessory detail set in 1:35 scale for the Hungarian medium tank the 40M Turan I. It holds a precisely turned metal barrel of the main gun and a resin mantlet, which replace the corresponding plastic parts from the base kit and raise the fidelity as well as the mechanical sturdiness of a model.
The turned barrel has the correct profile of the muzzle and a perfectly straight axis, such as only a metal part can give. The resin mantlet is cast with a sharp detail of the surface and of the castings. Once they have been cleaned up and painted, both parts give the turret of the tank a markedly more realistic look.
The set is intended for more advanced modelers. It does not hold the model of the tank itself or paints; it is a standalone detail accessory for building the Turan.
