A figure set in 1:35 scale from the production of the firm Bravo 6, which is carried under the designation B6-35201. The 1:35 scale is the most widespread one with military equipment and dioramas, so the figures will match vehicles, guns and buildings in the same scale in size.
A figure beside a vehicle or a gun gives a scene scale and the viewer immediately recognizes how large the machine really is. At the same time figures lead the eye around a diorama and are able to draw attention away from the less successful places in a build. Even a single well-placed figure turns a static model into a situation that has action.
Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let them dry out perfectly, because a degreased surface holds paint considerably better. Cut surplus material and parting seams off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder carefully with fine abrasive paper. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts: where it is not polystyrene, cyanoacrylate super glue holds best. Painting is usually carried from a base coat through the areas of skin and cloth to the shadows and the lights, and on small areas thin coats and a dry brush work well. Small items such as straps, buckles and holsters will stand out when you set them plainly apart from the base area of the uniform with a shade.
