Responsibility details are not available.
A set of rounds of 8.8 cm caliber in 1:35 scale, intended for the Kw.K.36 gun. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit of a vehicle. It will serve best where the inside of a machine can be seen: in hinged ammunition bins, in a fighting compartment with the hatch thrown back, by a crate being loaded, or loose on the ground by a vehicle where the crew is replenishing the load.
The 8.8 cm Kw.K.36 gun with a barrel 56 calibers long was the main weapon of the German Tiger heavy tank, that is, of the Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf. E. It was derived from the anti-aircraft gun of the same caliber and against armored targets it ranked among the most effective weapons of its time. Its rounds are long pieces with a prominent case, so they are not lost on a model even next to a large hull.
Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and let them dry thoroughly. Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little away from the part and carefully sand the rest off, so that the shape of the base of the case is preserved. Choose the way of gluing according to the material of the parts and according to the manufacturer's instructions; cyanoacrylate will join even parts on which cement for polystyrene has no effect. Distinguish the case and the projectile by color, otherwise the whole round merges into a single stick. The metal tone of the case will take a fine polishing of the edges, but go easy on the weathering, because the rounds were usually freshly delivered.
The model of the vehicle, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. The number of parts and the composition of the set are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
