A set of stowed cargo and equipment for a model of the British AEC Mk.III armored car in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The AEC Mk.III was a British heavy armored car of the Second World War. Compared with the older versions of the series it received a 75 mm gun in the turret, so besides reconnaissance it dared to give direct fire support as well. It was a massive vehicle with an armored hull on which there was plenty of room for the crew's cargo.
Stowed cargo is a detail that gives an armored vehicle a lived-in look. Tarpaulins, bags and crates on the fenders and at the rear reveal that the machine went somewhere and that somebody lived in it, and at the same time they liven up the large bare surfaces of armor. The set brings these elements as finished parts, so you do not have to shape them from modeling putty. The exact composition is given on the packaging.
First lay the parts out dry and look for places where the cargo would hold on a real vehicle, that is, surfaces with fittings, railings and frames. Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder. Wash and degrease the surface before painting, so that the paint holds; the suitable glue and the preparation of the parts are given by the manufacturer's instructions. Paint the canvas and the bags in a different tone than the hull and unify them at the end with a common layer of dust.
The set is meant to complete a finished kit. The paints and the glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
