A figure of an Austro-Hungarian mechanic of an armored car crew in 1:35 scale - a resin figure from Copper State Models for dioramas from the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure from the Copper State Models brand representing a mechanic of the crew of an armored car of the Austro-Hungarian army in the First World War in 1:35 scale. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted and, together with the other crew figures of the same range, it makes it possible to put together a lively scene around an armored car of the period.
The early armored cars were technically demanding machines and their operation stood or fell by the work of the mechanics - maintaining the engine, the tires and the weapons was part of the daily routine of the crew. A figure of a mechanic is therefore ideal for dioramas capturing a field repair or the preparation of a vehicle to move out: it will complement a model of the vehicle naturally and give the scene both action and a craftsman's atmosphere.
Wash the resin parts to remove the remains of the mold release agent, remove the casting blocks and glue with super glue. The mechanic's working clothes will stand more pronounced soiling - you can make oil and dust stains with pigments and oil paints. Check the shades of the Austro-Hungarian uniforms and working clothes of the period against period material; small tools from the spares box will bring the scene to life still further.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
