A set of replacement wheels with the Pirelli Artiglio tread pattern for a model of the Italian Autoblinda 40 or 41 armored car in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Autoblinda 40 and 41 were Italian armored cars of the Second World War. The vehicle had drive and steering on all four wheels and a second driver's station at the rear, so it reversed just as nimbly as it drove forward. The 41 version carried a 20 mm gun in the turret and became the most widespread variant of the whole series.
On an armored car the wheels belong among the most conspicuous parts. The set offers a replacement with the Artiglio tread pattern rendered, that is, with a design that was characteristic of Italian hardware, and with a sharper transition between the rubber and the disc than parts from a kit tend to have.
First check whether the opening in the wheel fits the stub of the axle; widen it carefully with a small drill if need be, so that the wheel can be fitted without pressure. If the wheel has a flattening of the tire suggested, turn it toward the ground and level all four wheels against a horizontal surface, so that the model does not stand crookedly. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. The rubber looks more faithful in a dark gray tone than in pure black; then accentuate the tread pattern with a dry brush and with dust from the edges of the tread.
This is an accessory to a model of the vehicle. The paints and the glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
