A sheet of classic water-slide (wet) decals in 1:35 scale from Star Decals. The sheet focuses on StuG III assault guns in foreign service, specifically in the armament of Bulgaria, Spain, Italy and Yugoslavia. It offers national and tactical insignia, vehicle numbers and further captions for building more than one machine.
The real subject is the StuG III self-propelled assault gun built on the Panzer III chassis, one of the most widespread German armored vehicles of the Second World War. Besides the German army it served with a number of allies and later in postwar armies, where it received national markings of its own. The sheet thus offers less usual and attractive schemes.
Apply the decals onto a smooth surface gone over with gloss varnish, so that no silvering effect arises under the film. Cut the designs out close to the printing, dip them briefly in lukewarm water and slide them onto the model. For settling onto detail use a decal softener, and fix the finished markings with a matte varnish.
