This is not a model of a vehicle but a set of accessories for a diorama and for the load areas of equipment. The package contains twelve resin castings of British gasoline cans corresponding to the pattern of the year 1944. The parts are finely detailed, with molded edges, seams and closures.
British army cans for fuel were among the ordinary equipment of Allied vehicles at the close of the Second World War. The recognizable mark of the British pattern is the different shape of the body and of the handle against the German or the American form. Such cans were hung on the fenders, the cargo beds and the noses of vehicles as a supply of fuel.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with dish soap, to remove remnants of the release agent. Separate the castings from the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Once a base color has been applied, the details stand out with the help of a wash and a dry brush; chipped paint and rust add realism.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
