A resin accessory from PANZER ART in 1:35 scale. This is not a model but a set of cast British fire extinguishers from the period of the Second World War, of the kind that were fixed to armored fighting vehicles. They serve to complete the fittings of a model and to make the external detail more faithful.
A fire extinguisher was part of the mandatory fittings of armored vehicles, for a quick response to a fire in the engine or the armament. The British extinguishers of the day had a typical cylindrical body with a handle and a mounting bracket, with which they were fixed to the fender, the hull or the fighting compartment.
Wash the parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand them, with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The extinguishers come out well with a color contrast between the body and the fittings, a fine wash and some wear; the mounting brackets can be refined with thin wire.
