Camouflage films for the Russian BMPT Terminator tank support vehicle, 1:35 cover the intricate silhouette of a machine built on the chassis of the T-72 tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
Camouflage films for one of the most idiosyncratic Russian armored vehicles carry a disruptive pattern across the hull, the turret and the superstructures. This is not a set of markings: the shapes are large, they cover continuous areas and they are laid onto practically the whole model.
The tank support combat vehicle is built on the chassis of the T-72 and came out of the finding that a tank on its own is vulnerable in a built-up area and has nothing with which to threaten targets above and below it at the same time. The answer was a turret with two 30 mm autocannons, grenade launchers and antitank guided missiles. The result is an unusually broken-up outline with a quantity of projections, shields and blocks of add-on armor.
It is precisely those projections that decide how the work turns out. Cut the large pieces of film into smaller parts, so that they can be wrapped around the armor blocks without creases; a crease is the route by which paint runs in. Go over the sharp corners once more with a blunt point before spraying. The superstructures that are glued on at the end are more sensibly painted separately, with the pattern on them carried over from the finished hull.
The delivery includes cut films; paints and the vehicle are not in it.
