A resin detail accessory of the PANZER ART brand in 1:35 scale. This is not a model of the vehicle but a standalone casting of the tarpaulin over the fighting compartment of the German light half-track carrier Sd.Kfz. 250 in the Alt version, that is the earlier one with the angular hull. The accessory faithfully reproduces the fabric with which crews covered the vehicle.
The Sd.Kfz. 250 was a German light armored half-track of the Second World War, used in a range of roles from reconnaissance to signals. The Alt version had the earlier, more laborious angular hull. Covering the fighting compartment with a tarpaulin protected the crew and the equipment from the weather.
Wash the mold release agent off the casting, cut off the casting block and fit it to the hull. Glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and do the sanding with respiratory protection. The fabric folds stand out once a primer has been applied and, during painting, with highlighting, a wash and drybrushing.
