This plastic figure kit in 1:35 scale from Master Box captures a scene at a control post, a checkpoint, from the period of the Second World War. The package holds figures of field police soldiers, of civilians and of dogs, and with them scenic accessories such as a barrier with a sign and a guard hut.
Control posts served to check documents and the movement of people. The scene brings together armed soldiers checking papers and civilian characters, among them a man with luggage, a young woman and a child. The scene offers a narratively rich, less combat-oriented diorama full of interactions.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and dry-fit them before gluing. A base ground, a contrast between the uniforms and more varied civilian clothing, fine shading and washes all work well. Finish the guard hut and the barrier with an imitation of wood and a light patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
