A set of replacement white metal tracks for building a model of the British main battle tank Chieftain in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle model but an accessory: the individual metal links are threaded onto wire and make up a workable run that replaces the rubber or plastic tracks from the original kit.
The Chieftain is a British main battle tank of the Cold War period with a 120 mm gun. It was notable for its heavily sloped armor and low silhouette and formed the basis of the British armored forces, and the equipment of other armies, for decades.
Clean the flash off the links and join them with wire so that the run stays workable and sags naturally. Apply a primer to the metal, then a base color and weathering with dust and mud, which give the track a worn look.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
