1:35 Cromwell Mk.IV is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard for plastic models of the British Cromwell Mk.IV cruiser tank in 1:35 scale. It is a brass exterior accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings thin photo-etched brass parts for detailing the exterior of a model of the British Cromwell Mk.IV tank in 1:35 scale. They are used to replace plastic sections that are too thick and to add the grilles of the engine compartment, the fenders, the mountings and the clips for tools. It is an accessory for more advanced modelers; the base kit and glue are not included.
The Cromwell Mk.IV was a British cruiser tank of the Second World War. Thanks to its Rolls-Royce Meteor engine it was among the fastest Allied tanks of its day and proved itself after the Normandy landings. The flat surfaces of the hull and the prominent engine grilles are ideal for refinement with etching.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade and make the bends with a bending tool or two rulers. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the brass before painting and spray it with a primer. The details come out well once washes have been applied into the recesses and the rivets.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. It calls for a separately bought Cromwell Mk.IV kit in the matching scale. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
