A figure of a Czechoslovak soldier of the interwar army in 1:35 scale. An accessory for dioramas set in the Czech lands.
Responsibility details are not available.
The subject is a soldier of the Czechoslovak army of the interwar period. Czechoslovak subjects are among the less common ones among figures, and yet it is precisely a soldier that gives a diorama set at home both scale and action. In a display case it also serves well on its own, standing on a simple base beside a model of a vehicle.
The 1:35 scale is the most widespread format for figures accompanying models of ground vehicles. A figure around 175 cm tall in reality corresponds to roughly 5 cm in it. At this size the face and the divisions of the uniform can be worked up and the figure is easy to place beside a building, a vehicle or a fortification.
Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the rest carefully, so that the shape is not disturbed. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, otherwise the paint may not hold.
The figure suits builders of dioramas set in Czechoslovakia and modelers who want to add the human dimension of a scene to a model in 1:35 scale. Paints, glue, a base and scene accessories are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
