A photo-etched interior set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for the D9R armored bulldozer in the version with slat armor, nicknamed Doobi in Israeli service, in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a detail accessory. The set refines the interior of the armored cab and adds panels, consoles and the small features that are clearly visible on an open build of a model.
The D9R is a heavy tracked bulldozer growing out of the civilian Caterpillar machine, used heavily armored in the Israeli army for engineering and combat tasks. The version with add-on slat (cage) armor raises the protection against shaped-charge projectiles. The machine serves for clearing obstacles and charges under fire.
Separate the etched parts and make the bends on a bending tool. It is advisable to finish and paint the interior before closing up the cab. Glue the small parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Before painting, degrease the surfaces and coat them with a primer; the details will then stand out once brought out with a wash.
The accessory does not contain the model itself, glue or paints. It is meant for completing an existing kit.
