Desert Storm 5 - Arabic Coalition in the Gulf 1990-91 (1:35, Star Decals)

A sheet of wet, that is waterslide, decals in 1:35 scale meant for marking models of the armored vehicles of the Arab states of the coalition in the war in the Persian Gulf. It is not a kit but an accessory for finishing a model.

The real subject and the markings

The set covers the vehicles of the Kuwaiti, Saudi Arabian and Egyptian armies used in the campaign against the Iraqi occupation of Kuwait. It holds national emblems, tactical markings, numbers and further lettering characteristic of the vehicles of the Arab coalition units.

Use

• Work on a smooth gloss varnish, which will keep the decals from silvering.
• Cut the motif out right to the edge, soak it in lukewarm water and slide it onto the surface of the model.
• Adjust the position, blot the water off and draw the decal into the detail with a softener.
• Coat it with a matte varnish to even the whole surface out.

Who the set is for

• Builders of Middle Eastern armor in 1:35 scale.
• Anyone interested in the Gulf War and in less usual national markings.

The set holds decals only. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
