1:35 Diorama-Base: Stalingrad corner is a cast diorama base with the relief of a corner ruin in 1:35 scale, for portraying the fighting in Stalingrad.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a finished diorama base, not a vehicle model or a figure. It captures the corner section of a destroyed city building from the period of the fighting for Stalingrad and serves as a striking foundation for displaying a tank, an armored vehicle or figures in 1:35 scale. The relief of the masonry, the window openings and the corner are modeled with rich detail of brick and render.
The base is cast in a hard modeling material and complemented by individual features such as fine parts, cut accessories and tube profiles for piping and installations. Small air bubbles or hairline cracks are usual on cast parts and are easy to fill.
Dust the surface off before painting, sand any unevenness down and fill the pores. It is ideal to lay the base color on with an airbrush or a brush, bring the recesses out with a dark wash and enliven the surfaces with a dry brush and pigments for a dust and rubble effect. Working with respiratory protection is recommended.
The base is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a vehicle are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
