The kit is made up of several plastic sprues and a decal sheet. The characteristic feature is the closed box body of the ambulance, with a separate driver's cab and a compartment for the wounded.
The Dodge M43 was an American military ambulance derived at the beginning of the 1950s from the M37 truck of the 3/4 ton class. It differed from the cargo version precisely in the closed box body, made up of a driver's cab and a compartment for the wounded with a connecting door. The vehicle carried several stretcher cases together with medical attendants and served the American army in the postwar period, among other places in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. It was a typical cross-country medical vehicle of its day.
