A small resin figure of a dog meant for figure scenes in 1:35 scale, from the production of the Ukrainian brand Spalah. This is not a kit of a vehicle or of a building but a separate accessory, which is placed beside foot figures and vehicles and helps the composition keep the right proportions. The size matches an ordinary 1:35 figure, so the animal looks neither lost nor oversized.
The animal belongs in civilian and in military scenes equally well. The yard of a country cottage suggests itself, a damaged street, a camp, a railroad station or a quiet moment among figures at rest. It is the dog that tends to be the element which takes some of the starkness out of a scene and sets the storytelling going. The same workshop also offers a variant where the animal accompanies a human figure; here you have them free and can arrange them exactly according to your own intention.
First wash the casting in lukewarm water with detergent, so that traces of the release agent disappear from the surface. Cut the casting remains off with a sharp scalpel, smooth the surface with a fine abrasive and protect your breathing while sanding. It is joined with super glue. After a thin coat of primer the coat comes out with a dry brush and fine glazing, and the eyes and the nose are finished with the thinnest brush you have.
The figure arrives without paint. Paints, glue and a base are not supplied with it, unless stated otherwise.
