Model Scene 1:35 Red Oak - autumn leaves is laser-cut oak foliage in rich red and rusty autumn tones — a loose material for finishing a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
Laser-cut model foliage from the manufacturer Model Scene in a recommended scale of 1:35. It is not a finished tree and not a kit — it is a loose scenery material. The leaves have the lobed shape of an oak leaf and the color matches the autumn of a red oak, that is rich red, rusty and wine tones, which set this species apart in autumn from the yellowing native oaks.
A strong red is a powerful accent in a diorama. It works best in smaller amounts as a contrast — under a single tree, in a strip along a path or drifted against a wall — next to more muted ocher and brown shades. If you flood a whole area with it, the scene starts to look artificial, because a carpet that rich is rather the exception even in nature.
Sprinkle it through a fine sieve in an irregular layer and fix it with thinned PVA glue or matte medium applied from a sprayer, so that no glossy drops stay on the surface of the leaves. You can tone the richness down with a light spray of heavily thinned brown from a greater distance or with a fine dusting of pigment — this suits the lower layer that fell earlier in particular. Lay individual leaves in exposed spots with tweezers.
For builders of autumn dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 scale who want to bring a strong splash of color into a scene, and for modelers who make their own trees.
This is a loose modeling material, not a finished tree. The glue, the fixing agents and any further accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
