A set of injection-molded plastic figures in 1:35 scale from Master Box. The package holds five figures of rural civilians from the period of the Second World War, typically an older man and woman, adolescent youths and a child. Variants of some parts are usually included as well, for instance an alternative head or headgear, which allow the scene to be varied slightly.
The figures capture ordinary rural life in Eastern Europe during the war. Civilian characters of this kind bring a historical scene to life splendidly, give it a human dimension and a comparison of scale against military equipment and buildings. The clothing and the bearing match the simple rural setting of the era and are treated factually and neutrally.
Separate the parts from the gates carefully and clean up the mold seams. Assemble the figures, treat them with a base coat, and painting the shades of skin and cloth with a brush is advisable, finished with shading and a dry brush to bring out the folds of the clothing. The faces and eyes call for a steady hand and a fine brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
