A resin detail accessory of the PANZER ART brand in 1:35 scale. This is not a model of the vehicle but a standalone casting of the engine deck with a simulated canvas cover for the standard German Einheitsdiesel truck. The accessory replaces the matching part of the base kit and gives the build the realistic look of a covered engine section.
The Einheitsdiesel was a standardized German off-road truck with all-wheel drive, built in the 1930s and deployed in many roles in the Second World War. Canvas covers were routinely used to protect the engine and the load from bad weather, and that is what this accessory faithfully captures.
Wash the mold release residue off the part, cut off the casting block and fit it to the vehicle. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and do the sanding with respiratory protection. The fabric folds of the cover stand out once a primer has been applied and, during painting, with highlighting and shading (washes, drybrushing).
