An engine set for a model of the M1025 Humvee vehicle in 1:35, meant for the Tamiya kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The HMMWV, commonly called the Humvee, is an American light cross-country vehicle with a wide track and a low silhouette, built in many variants. The designation M1025 belongs to one of the armed variants. The engine compartment on this vehicle opens by means of a hinged front hood, so it can be shown on a model and made the main point of the whole build.
Parts of the engine and its accessories in 1:35, prepared for the kit from the manufacturer Tamiya. The set replaces a simplified or entirely missing engine compartment in a kit; the instructions enclosed with the set give the exact list of parts and where they go.
Cut the excess material off a little way from the part with a sharp blade and sand what remains. First put the parts together dry and check whether the assembled engine will go under the hood and does not clash with the inner wall of the engine compartment; adjust the fit by sanding while nothing is glued yet. Wash and degrease before painting. Paint the engine in groups of parts while they are accessible, and only then fit it into the vehicle; once assembled, the whole thing will let a brush nowhere. The manufacturer's instructions give the particular procedure.
The kit of the vehicle, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
