A figure of a lone walker from the setting of a closed exclusion zone in 1:35 scale, listed as a character from the world of the STALKER game. A rewarding addition to a scene and a stand-alone piece for a display case alike.

A figure of a character from the setting of a closed exclusion zone, listed as a stalker from the world of the STALKER game. In 1:35 scale a standing adult figure comes out at roughly five centimeters, so it suits a display case as well as a smaller scene with vehicles and rubble. The scale matches common kits of military vehicles, which the figure can be set up alongside.
The world the name refers to builds on the motif of a closed zone around a destroyed nuclear power plant. Loners move about in it who go into the zone on their own account after finds and have to manage without any support behind them. Hence the long coat, the backpack, the respiratory protection and the gear put together from whatever was at hand. It is precisely this mixture of civilian clothing and military leftovers that makes the figure interesting even for modelers who otherwise build purely military themes.
Wash and degrease the figure before painting. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder down carefully, so as not to wipe away the fine relief of the fabric. A base coat is essential on figures: it unifies the surface and shows the places that still want smoothing. The color range stays close to the ground, that is khaki, gray-green, faded blue and brown leather. You will liven it up with small touches such as rust on the metal parts of the gear or the glossy glass of the respirator. Suggest damp and dirty surroundings with a dark wash into the folds and a dry brush along the edges.
The package contains the figure. Paints, glue and further accessories are not included, unless stated otherwise.
