A diorama accessory in 1:35 scale showing an entrance gate set into a brick wall. It is not a model of a vehicle but a scenic element that creates a natural edge or entrance for a diorama of a rural farmstead, a yard or a farm. The set combines a cast plaster wall part with a laser-cut gate.
The wall is cast in plaster with a realistic brick structure that can easily be cut and worked to the length needed. The gate itself is laser-cut and once assembled it looks slender and true to life. The plaster surface takes paint well, so the impression of worn brickwork is easy to achieve.
Clean the parts of flash; small chips can be filled with putty. Glue the plaster wall with PVA or cyanoacrylate glue and assemble the laser-cut gate according to the plan. Paint with an airbrush or a brush using water-based paints; washes will bring out the joints between the bricks and pigments will add dust and mud.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
