A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale. This is not a stand-alone model but a detail accessory for a plastic model of the German Flak 18 gun of 88 mm caliber. Photo-etched sheet makes it possible to render faithfully the shields, the platforms, the controls and other thin components of the gun carriage.
The Flak 18 of 88 mm caliber was a German anti-aircraft gun from the start of the Second World War, famed above all for its effectiveness against ground targets as well as aerial ones. The famous eighty-eight was deployed in the anti-tank role too and became one of the icons of the artillery of that time.
The photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife, bent over a ruler or a bending tool and glued with super glue. Degrease the sheet before painting and lay down a primer. The fine details of the gun carriage stand out once they have been brought out with a wash.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
