Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker RPM. The real subject is the Ford Model T adapted for army service in the First World War, one of the first motor vehicles committed in large numbers on the battlefield. The model is meant to be glued and painted, and the kit holds parts in rigid polystyrene and decal markings.
The Ford Model T was built from 1908 to 1927 and became the first genuinely affordable car produced on an assembly line. Thanks to its simple and reliable design, its four-cylinder engine and its easy maintenance, armies took to it as a light transport, liaison and ambulance vehicle. In the First World War it served on many fronts, where it replaced horse teams and markedly sped up the movement of materiel and people in difficult terrain.
With older molds of this kind it pays to clean the flash off the parts first and to fit them together dry. Glue with thin cement for plastic, and add the small parts, the fenders and the fittings, only once the body has been built up. We recommend a base coat of primer, an airbrush for an even finish and final emphasis on the detail with a wash and dry-brushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
