A figure set in 1:35 scale on the theme of Free France, the French forces that went on fighting alongside the Allies after 1940.
Responsibility details are not available.
Figures in 1:35 scale on the theme of Free France. They will complete a military diorama or a vehicle model and give the scene both scale and a story, because a vehicle on its own looks empty without figures. The exact contents of the set are described by the manufacturer on the box.
Free France was a movement that refused to accept the armistice after the defeat of France in 1940 and carried on with the war on the side of the Allies. Its units took part in the fighting in North Africa, in Italy and in the liberation of France, and they were usually equipped and armed with material of British and American origin, which showed in their appearance as well.
Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the remainder down carefully so as not to disturb the surrounding shapes. Choose the glue to suit the material of the parts. Wash and degrease the figures before painting, or the coat will hold unreliably. Painting goes from the base toward the details: first a base coat, then the areas of the uniform and the gear, and leave the face for last, because it decides the final impression. On a small area a thin glaze and a dry brush help more than a saturated color laid on all at once.
The set is for modelers who build Second World War vehicles and scenes in 1:35 scale and are looking for a crew or an escort for a vehicle. The figures also work well to bring a display case with a finished model to life.
Paints, glue and diorama accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
