A set of small accessories, 1:35 German anti-tank mines, set 2 from Yamamoto Model Parts, for dioramas and scenes beside models of military equipment.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit of a vehicle but a set of separate accessories for a scene. The mines are laid in the terrain, stacked on the cargo bed of a vehicle or into crates beside combat engineers. In 1:35 scale they are big enough to be recognized at first sight, and yet they fit even into a small vignette on a base the size of a palm.
In the Second World War anti-tank mines belonged to the basic engineer equipment. They were as a rule flat charges of a dish shape laid in a road or in the approaches of a defensive line; they were transported in crates and stacked loose alike. In a diorama they therefore work both sunk into the terrain and as a load. This item is the second set of anti-tank mines of the line; the manufacturer offers the first one separately, as well as two sets of anti-personnel mines, so you can put a scene together to your own intention.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel and sand the remnant of the gate down with fine abrasive paper. If they are of resin, wash them in lukewarm soapy water before painting because of the remains of the mold release agent and glue them with super glue; glue for plastic does not hold on resin. Paint over a base color, then use a dark wash into the recesses and a dry brush on the edges. Unify the mines laid in the terrain with their surroundings using dust and mud, so that they do not look stuck onto the surface.
It is an accessory for a build, not a model of a vehicle. It is supplied unpainted, and paints and glue are not included in the package.
