Ten German twenty-liter jerrycans for fuel in 1:35 scale. An accessory for vehicles and for dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of ten jerrycans for fuel in 1:35 scale. Jerrycans belong to the kind of equipment that is never surplus on a model of a military vehicle: they are hung around the fenders, stacked on the engine deck, propped against a crate in a diorama. Ten pieces are enough for one vehicle with a reserve and for the rest of the scene as well.
The German twenty-liter jerrycan of the 1930s is among the most successful containers ever. Its hallmark is three handles side by side, thanks to which one person can carry two cans and, when handing one over, the other person takes hold of the outer handle. The sides are stiffened by a pressed cross-shaped recess, which lets the container cope with changes in temperature. The closure shuts with a lever and needs no tools. The Allies copied the container and it is still in use today under the name jerrycan.
For builders of military hardware and dioramas who want to fill a vehicle with believable equipment. Even a less experienced modeler will manage the fitting, but the small parts are seated with tweezers.
It is an accessory. The vehicle model, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
