An injection-molded plastic kit of the projected German E-50 Flakpanzer anti-aircraft vehicle in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The model follows the concept of the Entwicklung tank series and carries a turret with a pair of cannons. It is a vehicle that never got off the drawing board into series production. The box contains parts in gray plastic, photo-etched metal accessories, metal tow cables and link tracks.
The Entwicklung (E) series was a German project for a unified family of armored vehicles with interchangeable parts, divided into several weight classes. The E-50 tank was to represent the medium class. The E-50 Flakpanzer anti-aircraft version with a turret carrying a pair of cannons remained a design only and never reached a prototype, let alone series production. The model therefore captures a conceptual, so-called paper vehicle.
Assemble and secure the running gear before you close up the hull. Attach the metal tow cables with super glue. Given the projected nature of the subject, you are free to choose an imaginary camouflage scheme. Apply the base coat with an airbrush over a primer and create the weathering with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
