Fuel jerrycans with the 1942 year will extend the equipment of vehicles and bases in the size of 1:35. The year of production and the marks of the makers are part of the name of the item.
Responsibility details are not available.
The last of the four years that form the core of this range carries the year 1942 in the name and the same two maker marks as the sets of the earlier years, ABP and SCHWELM. The choice between years is the main difference between the individual items, so the date of the scene you are building decides.
Containers produced in the course of the war changed in small things according to how the possibilities of production and the demands on markings changed. The particular differences of this set are not stated here; the year in the name, however, gives a guide to where the item belongs in time. For a build it matters more that by this period such containers accompanied the equipment on every battlefield and tended to be visibly worn.
When putting together a load, think about how the crew gets to it. Containers were not stacked into an inaccessible heap but stowed so that they could be taken down with one hand. A suitable combination with crates, a tarpaulin and rolled equipment creates a more convincing whole than a regular row of identical pieces. In color it pays to set a few containers apart, so that they do not look like castings from one mold.
