A set of individual-link running tracks in 1:35 scale from AFV Club. It is not a model of a vehicle but a standalone accessory — a collection of single links from which you assemble a workable (movable) track for the German half-track carriers Sd.Kfz. 251 and the artillery tractor Sd.Kfz. 11. This is the later form of the track with rubber pads (Gummipolster).
The track is made up of individual links, which drop into each other and stay movable, so that the finished track can be given a natural sag over the return rollers and tensioned on the drive sprocket and the idler wheel. Compared with the soft one-piece track from the box it offers sharper detail of the guide horns and of the rubber pads and a truer sag above the running gear. It suits use as a replacement or an improvement of the tracks on the matching half-track kits.
This is a standalone scale modeling accessory meant for completing or improving an existing kit. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
