The set of decals in 1:35 from ELEFANT offers period emblems and markings meant for the sides of the shells of German steel helmets. It is neither a figure nor a model but a decal accessory that raises the credibility of figures and dioramas.
The decals let you add faithful markings to the helmets of figures without having to paint small details by hand. Thanks to the thin carrier film they follow the rounded shape of the shell better and look natural even in a small scale.
Apply the decals onto a smooth, ideally slightly glossy and clean base. A decal softener helps, as it pulls the film onto the shape of the helmet and suppresses shiny edges. Once dry, go over it with a matte varnish, so that the marking blends into the surrounding finish.
This is a decal accessory, not a standalone model. Paints and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
