Tamiya 1:35 German Infantry, late Second World War is a plastic set of figures of German soldiers from the end of the war.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic set of figures in 1:35 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Tamiya captures German infantrymen from the late period of the Second World War. The package contains the parts for five soldiers in realistic action poses together with period infantry weapons. Accurate parts and an easy build are typical of Tamiya, so the set suits less experienced modelers too.
At the close of the Second World War, the German infantry wore late patterns of uniform and carried modern individual weapons. The figures capture soldiers in characteristic positions, and the weapons include self-loading and assault rifles, a submachine gun and a Panzerfaust. The set therefore illustrates well the equipment of an infantryman of the last months of the war.
Clean the flash off the parts and glue them with thin modeling cement for plastic. Apply a filler primer before painting; late German uniforms wore both field gray and dappled camouflage patterns. The faces and the equipment come out well with glazes and fine washes, and drybrushing the edges is an advantage too.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
