This injection-molded plastic set in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Hobby Boss contains four figures of German infantrymen of the early phase of the Second World War. The figures bring models of vehicles to life or serve as the basis of an infantry diorama. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
German infantry of the early war wore field gray field uniform, a helmet, a belt with equipment and carried the infantry weapons of the period. The set captures typical stances of soldiers in the field and suits scenes from the years 1939 to 1941.
The parts of the figures are clearly laid out on injection-molded sprues and are glued with liquid cement for plastic. Applying a primer is recommended, then acrylic paints for the uniforms, with the folds of the clothing brought out with a wash and oil paints. The faces come into their own with gradual lightening of the skin.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
