A set of injection-molded plastic figures, German machine gun crew, in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. The box contains five figures of German soldiers of the Second World War period in dynamic poses on the move. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The set captures a heavy machine gun crew on the march. The individual figures carry parts of the weapon and the ammunition - a non-commissioned officer with a submachine gun, a gunner with the MG42 machine gun and soldiers with ammunition boxes and the tripod mount. The kit matches Wehrmacht infantry: field blouses, boots with puttees, helmets, gas masks and other period items. Weapons such as the machine gun, a submachine gun and Kar 98k rifles are included.
Glue the figures with modeling cement for plastic, and clean up and fill the seams at the joints. Apply primer before painting, and build the uniforms up from the base tones through shading with a wash to edge highlighting with a dry brush. Finish the faces and the small items with a brush. The set will nicely enliven a diorama or complement a model of an armored vehicle.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
