1:35 German Panzer Crewman WW2 is an unpainted resin figure in 1:35 scale from Evolution Miniatures. The subject is a German tank crew member of the Second World War period.
Responsibility details are not available.
A separate figure cast in resin in 1:35 scale. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and it is neither a model of a vehicle nor an accessory for one. The contents of the package, the number of parts and the division of the casting are stated on the box.
Resin holds sharp detail better than injection-molded plastic, so even small folds and buttons tend to be legible on a figure. Before building, wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap, otherwise the residue of the mold release agent will stop the primer adhering. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw as close to the part as possible and sand the remainder; on figures the block is typically under the feet or on the back, where the mark shows least. Sand wet and with your airways protected. Glue the joints with superglue and fill any gaps in the shoulders or the neck with putty, so that the transition of the uniform does not look broken.
It pays to paint the figure before all the parts are finally glued together, if the division allows it — the face and the chest are then easier to reach. After the primer, start with the base tones and only then shade into the folds and lighten the edges. The flesh deserves the most patience: heavily thinned paint and as many as five thin layers look better than one heavy one. Leave leather and metal detail for the end and tie the whole together with a matte clear coat. If you seat the figure in a vehicle model, try dry in advance how high it will stand above the hatch.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
