A plastic kit of the German tank on the standardized Pz.Kpfw.III/IV chassis in the version with the smaller turret, in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The kit is full of small parts, with a multi-part hull tub, individual link tracks and photo-etched parts, so it offers a solid level of detail.
Einheitsfahrgestell means standardized chassis, that is an attempt to unify the running gear for German medium tanks so that it could carry different turrets and weapons. The vehicle stayed at prototype stage and never reached series production, which makes it an unusual subject for collectors of the so-called paper panzers.
Assemble and paint the individual track links separately. Finish the running gear and the hull first and only then deal with the turret. A combination of shades suits late German camouflage; fine-tune the weathering with washes and pigments for a dusty and muddy look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
