Small fuel trailers were part of the ordinary but often overlooked equipment of German units in the Second World War. They served to carry fuel for vehicles and other equipment and were usually towed behind trucks or cars. It is precisely such small things that make a diorama believable and show the rear-area and supply side of wartime operations.
Cut the parts off the sprues and glue them with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Given the small dimensions, take care over clean joints and careful cleanup. Apply primer and paint with an airbrush or a brush according to the German camouflage you choose. A wash and dust pigments will help bring out the detail and suggest service wear and fuel stains.
