An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Schützenpanzer Puma infantry fighting vehicle in 1:35 scale from Rye Field Model. The In UAE rendering captures the vehicle during trials in a hot climate in the United Arab Emirates. The package contains richly divided parts, photo-etched elements and workable individual track links; the rubber armor of the roof is realistically rendered as well.
The Puma is a modern tracked infantry fighting vehicle of the Bundeswehr that replaces the older Marder type. It is marked by strong armor protection, a remotely operated turret and carrying capacity for a dismounted section. The desert trials tested the resistance of the powerplant, the cooling and the electronics at extreme temperatures.
Assemble and fine-tune the running gear and the individual track links before the hull is closed. Glue the photo-etched parts with super glue. A primer, spraying with an airbrush and then picking the detail out with a wash and with pigments for dust and desert effects are recommended.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
