A resin figure of a tank officer in a winter coat in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. It is not a model of a vehicle but an accessory for one. It comes into its own in a turret hatch, beside a tank and in a winter diorama scene, where the figure gives scale and hints at a story. The 1:35 scale is the most widespread one for military vehicles, so there is plenty to combine the figure with.
The manufacturer makes two standalone figures of an officer in a winter coat, number 1 and number 2, and a set alongside them. This item is the standalone figure number 2. Its pose and the cut of the coat are stated on the box.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap, otherwise release agent is left on the surface and the paint will flake. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw, finish the surfaces by wet sanding and protect your breathing while sanding resin. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). A long winter coat is a rewarding surface for modeling shadows: after the filler apply the base tone, darken the recesses of the folds and lighten their edges. Leave the face and hands until the end and unify the whole figure at the finish with a matte varnish.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the vehicle model are not included in the package.
