A figure of a German tanker in winter trousers in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand PANZER ART, a resin casting to be glued and painted by the builder.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure in 1:35 scale, the manufacturer's part number FI35-054. It represents a member of a German tank crew wearing padded winter trousers with an ordinary field blouse. A standing man works out at roughly five centimeters in this scale.
The German army began testing a standard winter outfit after the first winter on the Eastern Front. From the winter of 1942 and 1943 the units received a reversible padded outfit whose trousers were worn on their own with an ordinary uniform as well, because they were warmer than the woolen ones. Exactly this combination, winter trousers and a field blouse, is common on period photographs of armored crews on the Eastern Front, and the figure captures it.
Wash the casting in water with detergent and let it dry; only then will a primer take. Cut the casting block off and sand the surface flat; resin is better sanded wet and with a respirator. Glue the joints with super glue, ideally a gel one, which gives you time to settle the position. Bring the face and the hands out into the light by layering flesh tones with darker glazes in the folds, and finish the uniform with a dry brush on the edges.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
