This is a figure of a goat in 1:35 scale, that is, a small accessory for the scene around the model. It is not a kit, but an animal on its own for a diorama, a display case or a base under the model. The figure is supplied unpainted.
Country dioramas live on details that represent nothing in themselves but together create the impression of an inhabited place. A goat by a fence, on a field boundary or tethered by a gate is exactly that kind of element: it takes up little room but gives the scene movement and a story. At the same time it serves as a guide to scale, from which the viewer judges the size of the vehicle beside it. In 1:35 scale even fine anatomy comes out, so the painting is worth the time.
First clean up the mold parting lines and degrease the surface, then apply a thin primer. Build the goat's coat up from a middle color, pull the back down with a dark glaze and lighten the chest, the muzzle and the legs instead - the contrast will give the animal volume. Paint the horns and the hooves separately in a slightly different tone from the coat, so they read as a different material. The eyes with a fine brush right at the end. Dust the legs with a pigment to match the surface of the scene, so the animal does not look alien on the base, and unify the whole figure with a matte varnish.
The figure is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and the base are not included in the package.
