Gothic Church Dormers are roof dormers in 1:35 scale intended to complete church buildings. A steep variant exists alongside it for a pitch of roughly forty to forty-five degrees, so before buying it pays to compare the angle of your own roof. Dormers let light and air into the loft space above the vault, where the roof truss framing was hidden. On Gothic buildings you recognize them by their narrow shape and pointed finish, which echoes the forms of the windows below. Installation and painting

In color terms it proves best to keep to the shade of the surrounding roofing and darken the dormer somewhat, because it stands in its own shadow.
