This is not a complete figure but a resin accessory from the Czech maker Firma49. The set contains replacement heads with the British MK1 helmet in place and the chin strap fastened, in 1:35 scale. By changing the head you can easily create a British or Allied soldier.
The British MK1 steel helmet with its wide brim, known for its plate-like shape, is one of the most typical symbols of the British soldier of both world wars. The detail of the fastened chin strap adds conviction to the head. The parts are 3D printed in resin with sharply rendered surfaces on both the helmet and the face.
The parts can be sanded and drilled in the usual way and are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue. The neck is adjusted to the opening in the torso of the figure, or pinned. We recommend a primer as a base; the helmet comes to life with a flat color, a fine wash and a hint of wear on the edges of the brim.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted resin parts. Figures, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
