This is a resin detail set in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. It is not a vehicle model but a set of improvised sandbag armor for the American M10 Wolverine tank destroyer. The castings represent heavy sandbag cladding of the kind that crews added to the hull for extra protection.
The M10 Wolverine was an American tank destroyer of the Second World War with an open turret and a 76.2 mm gun. Crews often added improvised armor of sandbags, logs or spare tracks to their vehicles to improve their chances of survival against armor-piercing rounds and hand-held anti-tank weapons.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut off the casting blocks. Bond the resin with super glue. Sandbags are best captured in sand and brown shades with pronounced drybrushing on the edges; pigments fill in the dust and mud.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
