77propeller 1:35 rotor blade cart for the Mi-24 / Mi-8 / Mi-17 is a 3D-printed piece of ground support equipment - a cart on which removed main rotor blades are stored and moved. It is not a helicopter kit but a diorama accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is NOT a helicopter kit or any part of one. It is ground support equipment - a cart, or rolling rack, for rotor blades, into which main rotor blades removed from a machine are laid. It is made by the Slovak brand 77propeller. The set contains 17 parts made by high-resolution 3D printing. The rotor blades are NOT included in the package - you get the cart itself. You either take the blades from a helicopter kit or build the cart empty.
When the main rotor blades are removed from a helicopter - for maintenance, repair, ground transport or storage - they must not simply be put down on the ground. A blade is long, flexible and sensitive to deformation, so it is laid in a rack that supports it at set points. That is exactly what this cart does: around hangars and on field sites it is standard equipment wherever the Mi-8, Mi-17 or Mi-24 operates.
The cart is a purely diorama item. On its own it does nothing - but it turns a static model into a scene. A helicopter with its blades removed stands in a hangar, the blades lie beside it on the cart, mechanics move around: suddenly it is not a helicopter model but a situation with a story. Ground equipment and crews are exactly what makes an aviation diorama believable. The machine on a base alone is still only a model; only a ladder, a cart, a jerrycan, a tarpaulin and a mechanic figure turn it into a scene a viewer stops at. The cart also neatly solves the perennial problem of large helicopters - where to put the blades so that the model does not take up half the display case.
The 3D-printed parts are small and fragile; the manufacturer itself recommends a sharp modeling knife and fine cutters and careful separation from the supports. For gluing, do not use cement for plastic models - it has no effect on resin; reach for cyanoacrylate glue or two-part epoxy. First rinse the parts in warm water with detergent, so that no print resin residue is left on the surface and the paint takes hold. Sand wet only - resin dust is harmful to health. Leave the thin frame sections and axles to the end of the assembly so that they do not snap during handling. In color the cart matches ground equipment: matte green or gray, with rubbed metal, rust and plenty of dust - support equipment is usually far more worn than the machine itself.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The rotor blades, the helicopter model, figures, glue and paints are not included in the package.
